##  Authentication method(s) for GOTS certificates

There have been cases of invalid certificates which have been faked or manipulated. Below you’ll find one or more methods to authenticate a GOTS certificate at hand. Should you not be able to obtain confirmation of the certificate’s authenticity, please inform GOTS (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and the certification body about this. We’ll get back to you.

###  **Email address**

You may send the GOTS certificate to be authenticated to the following email address and should have a response about the authenticity of the certificate within two business days of the certification body.

If your TC has been issued after 1.July 2023, it has been cryptographically signed and cannot be edited without breaking the CERES seal. You can check this directly, when opening the file on Adobe reader.
