Protecting the integrity of our voluntary sustainability standards (VSS) means taking action against misuse. We investigate allegations of fraud, misleading claims and the improper use of our labels or references to certification, and apply appropriate sanctions where necessary.
Complaint procedure
Global Standards provides a complaint procedure to ensure a formalised, timely and effective means of handling and resolving any complaints raised with regard to GOTS and GRTS.
View companies that have been banned from obtaining GOTS or GRTS certification or participating in the input approval system. Publishing bans promotes transparency and helps protect the integrity of our VSS.
